Out of the blue, and yet so perfectly timed, my firm decided to send me to their London office for a couple months. I couldn't be happier, or more grateful. I will be helping out with interiors on a children's hospital project. I can't wait to dive in, and see what it's like to live and work in such a glorious place.
Sharing the great news with everyone was like riding on a roller coaster. Saying goodbye to friends, family, and co-workers was bittersweet. They were happy for me, yet jealous, and thought I may never want to come back! I can't predict what will happen over the upcoming months, but the idea of that excites me.
After a week of frantic preparation, sorting out a work visa, and tying up loose ends at home, they sent me off to explore a whole new world...across the pond.
I love you all,
Cat
